Welcome to Academy Mortgage and my website! I'm a veteran mortgage banker with close to three decades of experience in the Florida market. Change has been constant in lending these past few years. The credit crisis has changed the game greatly. For the many years that I represented one of the "big three" banks, there was little need for consumers to stray from the "big box" lenders when seeking money for a purchase or a refinance.

The lending landscape as we knew it has been decimated by "too big to fail" banks overextending themselves and pulling back their lending in many cases to serve only their customer base...and even then, often poorly or not at all. For these reasons, the services Academy Mortgage and I provide are in as much demand as ever, as mortgage funding money has been "de-commoditized".
