Welcome!

I’m Eric Olson, a top-producing Loan Officer for Academy Mortgage. I have worked in the mortgage origination business since 2014 and joined Academy in 2021. Over my career as a Loan Officer, I have closed millions of dollars of loan transactions, and my particular areas of expertise are first-time home buyers, construction loans, one to four unit residential properties. With my experience and Academy’s broad array of mortgage solutions to choose from, I will make every effort to find a great loan program and pricing for your situation.

Our Branch Office in Layton is equipped to complete the entire loan process in-house—all loan processing, underwriting, closings, and funding are handled locally. As a result, we have a proven track record of closing loans as quickly and efficiently as possible, and I will be up-to-date on the status of your loan at all times. I understand the importance of maintaining continuous communication throughout the loan process and commit to providing you accurate, timely, and honest mortgage advice.

I was born and raised in North Ogden and currently live in there with my family. I am a graduate of Utah State University. I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, golf, basketball, and spikeball, and spending time with friends and family.

I invite you to put us to the test. Let me show you how simple and easy securing a mortgage can be.
