Have you ever met someone and immediately knew that you wanted to be their friend? That is who Jaysen McKinney is in a nutshell. He is a loving husband to his wife, Cortney, and father to their three children, Hannah, Addison, and Dylan. Jaysen serves on the Tech Team and Host Ministry at his church, Olive Branch Community Church. In his free time, he enjoys hunting with his dad and brother every fall and riding jet skis in the summer. Jaysen stands at 6 feet 11 inches tall, hence the name “The BIG Lender.” He did play basketball and had a college scholarship all lined up; however, the summer before he went off to college, Jaysen broke his arm in a pick-up game at a local park, halting his basketball plans.

Jaysen received an associate’s degree in computer networking from ITT Technical Institute. After five years in networking, he decided that he wanted more and went back to school. Jaysen went to Colorado Tech University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Over the next six years, he worked as an operations manager for top companies such as Amazon, Cox, Cardinal Logistics, and Krystal Koach. Jaysen loves the strategic planning of operations, seeing the big picture, and being able to bring it all together. Though he enjoyed operations, something was missing. Enter . . . The BIG Lender!

As a loan officer, Jaysen is able to use his education and experience in both IT and operations to bring the mortgage world full circle for his clients. He is tech savvy and operations-minded, allowing Jaysen to precisely deliver an individualized loan experience for each and every client.
