John Mathews is a Native Floridian. He was born and raised right here in Leesburg, FL. Once he left Leesburg High School, he joined the United States Marine Corp. After 6 years in service he was honorably discharged and soon found his calling in life, sales! First starting out as an Insurance sales man, and then embarking upon the Real Estate Mortgage Industry where he has remained for over 30 years, servicing all of Central Florida.

During his mortgage career he has held vast roles spanning from Vice President Area Manager covering 5 states to Loan Originator, and even Owner. John’s many roles have given him a deep insight into the industry that has proven valuable to his referral partners and customers, closing thousands of loans!

John is very actively involved in his community, serving as a former President of the Eustis Chamber of Commerce and LifeStream Foundation Board, volunteering with Ibini Tera, as well as assisting in many hurricane clean-up efforts. John actively attends and participates in his church. John has been married for 34 years to Pamela Mathews, and has 6 children and 11 grandchildren; all of whom also reside in Central Florida.

In John’s free time he enjoys cooking, kayaking, fishing, and skydiving; and most importantly spending time with his large family!
