I have been a mortgage originator since July 2001, after retiring from the corporate world. In that time, I have truly enjoyed seeing the happy faces of hundreds, if not thousands, of borrowers that I have informed, “You are qualified to purchase your new home.” For many, it has been their first home. Then, time and again, many have sought me out to refinance their homes so they can help their children attend college. Others have reached to me for their second, or third purchase.

I help conduct First Time Homebuyer presentations with several of my business development partners- realtors, insurance agents, financial planners, etc. It makes it very rewarding to assist many that have attended the presentations, especially those that I ended up taking time to help them repair their credit issues that, previously, did not allow them to.

Much of my time away from the lending world is spent officiating high school and college softball and volleyball. I have worked several junior college state championship playoff matches. I am very fortunate to have officiated four (4) men’s national fast pitch softball championships and a college regional and super regional championship for softball. I am hoping to umpire a college softball national championship before I retire as I am getting ready for my 30th season of college softball.

I will gladly answer any questions about the homebuying process, whether you’re refinancing, buying your first home or an investment property. Give me a call!
